A Minnesota transplant, I moved to Minneapolis from Southern California in 2003. I found that I love working with nonprofits… but nonprofits can really use a lot of work! I have a background in research (the academic kind) and development (the community development, fundraising and the website kinds) and I have a knack for helping organizations do good work better and more efficiently. I do this by helping businesses with board development, strategic planning, and finding the right fit for their communications and information technology needs.
I currently work as the Executive Director of the West Bank Business Association. I’m also the founder of Altered Esthetics, a nonprofit arts gallery and arts advocacy organization in Northeast. In addition to working with a variety of nonprofits in the Twin Cities to help them build stronger boards and organizations, I have also served on the board of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association and on a variety of committees for community building endeavors.
